The hotel is in a great location to explore all of Caen and travel to Normandy beaches and Bayeux. The rooms provide views of the courtyard and let in plenty of natural sunlight, but they do have a faint smell of smoke. The service was friendly, though maintenance was needed in certain areas. The location is ideal for accessing the city, but road closures due to tram system installation can be inconveniencing. The dining options, while satisfying all tastes, might be expensive compared to outside markets and cafes.
